ICT Tip 71 – Socrates – Change the date of a prescription

It’s not a situation that arises very often but if it does it is possible to either backdate or forward date a prescription if required.  It works the same using printing or healthmail.
In the print dialogue box, there is an option, issue as which defaults to today’s date but you can if you wish change this to another date and this is the date that will appear on the prescription.

If you want to see what that looks like you can look at a preview of your prescription by clicking the preview button before pressing print or healthmail.  But to actually print you then have to close the preview; untick the preview button and press print again.
Here is a preview with the date changed to 1/2/22

I came across that Michael and it is pretty handy, because Socrates usually won’t  allow  script early otherwise.
