Michael,  I think this was discussed before, but browsing in Socrates home page if I want to set up this option will the practice/CH  have to pay €20 € / m after 3 months free service ?

Are you still printing off e-mails from patients and handing the printed copy to who ever is tasked with completing the request?  There is a better way.

Basically, copy and paste the e-mail message into a task and assign it.

Here are the steps

Open the e-mail
Copy the text in the message by selecting it all and pressing Ctrl-C (or right click and click copy)
Open the corresponding patients file via the consultation tab
It would be good practice to add the e-mail address to the patients fie if it is not already there
On the summary page click on tasks
Click on add task
Paste the text from the e-mail into the Description box by pressing Ctrl-V or right clicking and click paste
In the assigned to tab click the person to whom the task is to be given too
Click Save and Close, then close the task dialogue box and the file
Now the e-mail request has been assigned and the e-mail can be closed.

I’m not sure of the actual cost, you would have to ring Clanwilliam to find out and order.
Does anyone use it at the moment and does it work OK?  Any feedback would be welcome.
