The apology is because I am sure everyone’s heart sinks when they see that as a subject heading by this stage!
I just want to know if any of you who had the AZ on 14 Feb have been given a follow up date? I wasn’t and it should be this weekend if sticking to the 12 weeks.
Personally I am really unhappy to wait any longer as we are working in such a high risk situation.
Thanks
Kimberley

Hi Kimberley,
I don't follow the "apology".  Maybe I have missed the thread.  I got my AZ
on Feb 14th like you.  A nightmare trying to organise it with
misinformation being sent by text under the name of the PCRS!!  When
phoned, they knew nothing about it-just providing an IT facility!  I
eventually had to secure an appointment through the IMO.
Like you I am due the booster this weekend but no notification.  As you
know, if you are under 60 and healthy they will try to push it back to 16
weeks. Not good enough in the environment we work in.  In my case, I have
serious underlying conditions and am in the 60-69 cohort.
There just doesn't seem to be anyone there to help.

Hi tony and Kimberly I am also waiting my second dose of Astra Zeneca- had it on the 14th feb. Can I ask who you contacted in the IMO tony? Do you have their email/phone number? Are you now getting it this month? It would be great to get it sooner rather than waiting an extra month.
Thanks!

Hi Ashling

The guy in the IMO is called Tom. I got him on the main number but you must be a member.
However, I contacted HSE live yesterday evening to be told that my details had been sent to the wrong area by someone in HSE and therefore my booster was cancelled!!
Your best bet is to go to whoever organized your first shot and take it from there or HSE live and ask for Dominic if that’s possible. He was the only one who shed light on their cock up. Remember, they have your details.
Best of luck

Tony

Thanks for that info Tony, very helpful. I phoned HSE live and got another version....that yes we are to only have our second after 16 weeks, unless high risk medical condition.
Personally I think it is disgusting that they are treating frontline workers including our admin staff like this when we have all been going the extra mile for the last year and putting ourselves and families at risk.  I am in my late 50’s so would probably have got it quicker if I went through that portal rather than the rather useless one  we used which crashed the first few attempts!  I see in Europe they are recommending a second dose of Pfizer at 12 weeks in some countries. If anyone has any good ideas what to do next please let me know!

Happy vaccinating !
