Hi Michael or any other Socrates boffins- is there a way (other than just scanning to documents) of uploading a photo eg of a skin rash or ulcer, to a patients file in Socrates?
Many thanks
Jean

Michael,
I am doing as per Jean. Would be great to follow an easier method.

You don’t have to scan in things like photo’s.  As long as the item is a file on your computer you can “attach” it to the file in documents.
Open the relevant patient file and go to documents then documents.
At the bottom there is an option beside the scan options to “attach file”.  Click this browse to the file, which can be a photo, ECG, document or even sound files or videos.  Highlight the file and click open, add the necessary details and the file is now available as a “document”.

Another option, a bit more complicated is to add a file that you have received as an attachment via healthmail, described in tip 33

[docx icon] ICT Tip 33 – Socrates – Adding Healthmail attachment to a patients file.docxhttps://centrichealthire.sharepoint.com/sites/CentricConnect/_layouts/15/Doc.aspx?sourcedoc=%7b060E937B-7BD1-4D43-9BC7-250D9CD2628F%7d&file=ICT%20Tip%2033%20%E2%80%93%20Socrates%20%E2%80%93%20Adding%20Healthmail%20attachment%20to%20a%20patients%20file.docx&action=default&mobileredirect=true&DefaultItemOpen=1

Hope that helps

Michael
