IMPORTANT:

Dear Doctors and Colleagues,

Please see the communication below regarding Hepatitis B Vaccination for all staff working in our practices:

As we are all aware, the number of needles being used within practices has greatly increased recently and as such we ask all of you to take the necessary steps to ensure that you have received, at a minimum, your Hepatitis B vaccine.

If you are unsure on your immunisation status, this can be checked by a blood test.

All the above can be done free of charge in your practice, through your own GP or via the Occupational Health Department.

We are currently organising a process for the rollout of all the other recommended vaccines for Healthcare Workers and we will provide a further update on this in the coming weeks.

Remember all of our Healthcare staff are in the at risk group and it is recommended that you receive Hepatitis B vaccination to protect yourself and others. It is both your responsibility to act on this recommendation and Centric Health’s responsibility to remind you frequently to protect yourself and offer you that protection.

Thanks, and stay safe.

Gavin

PS - if anyone wishes to discuss this further then please feel free to contact me directly by email.

Our Nurses and PCAs will no doubt be delighted to take a blood sample off their doctors! (Mine will anyway - queuing up!!)
