Hi All POTENTIAL/WANNABE LARC inserters,
Another query around LARC -this time the practical training.
I know its become more and more difficult to get signed off as proficient in LARC training.
I am trying to work on a route to get some practical training in National Maternity Hospital- nothing definite yet.
You would need to have done some background gynae groundwork course eg Contraception certificate/ DRCOG/ICGP Community Gynae Course/RCPI Diploma Womens health first so that you understand the theory and patient selection etc first.
If you have this done and are trying to access practical training can you please let me know so I can get an idea of numbers involved?
Please do not express interest unless you have the theory work done (or are actively doing it now)!
Many thanks
Kind regards
Jean Gallagher
