ICT Tip 169 – Socrates – Edit an investigation

Regarding video (and other) links, the videos are in the cloud – in this case on Centric World.  To view them you must use your Centric Health credentials. That’s your Centric e-mail address as the username, and your password.
If you don’t know your password, ask your Practice Manager to e-mail itsupport@centrichealth.iemailto:itsupport@centrichealth.ie and request a reset for you.

Investigations can be very useful things to use.  Some of you may be using the blood order investigation for recording which bloods you have ordered.  This is not available everywhere, but the process is described here if you are interested.

Today I want to show you how you can edit an investigation, using the blood order as an example.

Go to My Control Panel==>Admin Console==>Investigations

1: Highlight the investigation you want to edit.
2: Add the name of the new field you want e.g. CDM Bloods
3: Choose the field type, use yes/no for a tick box, text for text entry etc.
4: Click Add
5: The new field will appear somewhere in the list of fields
6: If you highlight an investigation, you can use the up and down arrows to move it up or down in the list
