ICT Tip 164 – Socrates – Send SMS at the time of appointment booking.
There have been a few updates recently, these have been mainly to do with vaccines and CDM but there are a few small function improvements as well. As always you can read what’s new in the notifications that are sent out,

I’ll highlight the best of them in the coming weeks.
A new box to tick that will send an SMS immediately to the patient when creating an appointment with the appointment details has been added. It is at the bottom on the create appointment dialogue. Tick it and an SMS will be sent straight away. There is also a charge now button,, I’m actually not sure if that was there before, you can use it to raise an invoice at the time of booking an appointment.

could you confirm is there any automation that relates HSE long term illness forms and the like
embedded in Socrates.
