Hi All

Just wondering whether anyone has experience with this or could guide me?
Patient with PCOS looking for a prescription for Letrozole to aid ovulation (?)
She is awaiting Private Fertility Clinic assessments but wondering whether this could be trialled in interrim

Hi Gavin

There is an excellent fertility service run by Dr Sinead Hussey and Vanessa
Phelan RGN RM in Raheny Medical. It might be worth flicking an email to
info@rahenymedical.ie and asking if Sinead/Vanessa can give you a steer.
They usually need regular ovarian ultrasounds I think if having
ovulation induction with letrozole, and probably other stuff as well.

Hi Gavin There is an excellent fertility service run by Dr Sinead Hussey and Vanessa Phelan RGN RM in Raheny Medical. It might be worth flicking an email to info@rahenymedical.ie and asking if Sinead/Vanessa can give you a steer. Hi all,
Vanessa and I are providing a Fertility Service at Raheny Medical.

This includes a GP/ Fertility Nurse Specialist Consultation for female and
male fertility assessments ,fertility hormone profile blood tests including
an ovarian reserve assessment and semen analysis .
We discuss ovulation induction treatments and management with follicle
tracking and arrange the referrals for pelvic scans including antral
follicle scans and tubal patency tests.
The details regarding this service will be available on our website in the
next few weeks.

The referral pathway is to send an email to :
womenshealth@centrichealthraheny.ie
