A bit of a milestone this week, the 100th tip. Instead of a new tip I thought I might review the best of the tips so far.
The tips I like most are the ones that save time and clicks. So based on that, these are my favourite top three tips from the 100:
1: Short cut keys, there is nothing faster than becoming proficient in using the keyboard rather than the mouse so Tip 16 comes out top for me.
[docx icon] ICT Tip 16 – Socrates – Short cut Keys.docxhttps://centrichealthire.sharepoint.com/:w:/r/sites/CentricConnect/Centric%20Connect%20Library/Innovation/Socrates,%20Tips,%20Guides%20and%20Videos/Socrates%20Tips/ICT%20Tip%2016%20%E2%80%93%20Socrates%20%E2%80%93%20Short%20cut%20Keys.docx?d=w30c5bf01870b49aba528550e488c52be&csf=1&web=1&e=Cr4G2U
2: Nothing slows up a prescribing session more than drugs being in review, so while a bit controversial I like to try and prevent drugs going into review if at all possible, hence Tip 7
[docx icon] ICT Tip 7 – Socrates – Setting the default number of drug issues.docxhttps://centrichealthire.sharepoint.com/:w:/r/sites/CentricConnect/Centric%20Connect%20Library/Innovation/Socrates,%20Tips,%20Guides%20and%20Videos/Socrates%20Tips/ICT%20Tip%207%20%E2%80%93%20Socrates%20%E2%80%93%20Setting%20the%20default%20number%20of%20drug%20issues.docx?d=wfafe2031928e47d4b5f10c18ba2da542&csf=1&web=1&e=JpC41L
3: Maybe a bit quirky this one, but if you don’t have to make the top green you save time and clicks, hence 39 makes it into the my top 3.

Subject: Centric GP Forum ICT Tip 100 – General – A Review of the first 100 tips

2: Nothing slows up a prescribing session more than drugs being in review, so while a bit controversial I like to try and prevent drugs going into review if at all possible, hence Tip 7

3: Maybe a bit quirky this one, but if you don’t have to make the top green you save time and clicks, hence 39 makes it into the my top 3.

Most Positive feedback received
I don’t actually get an awful lot of feedback; you are a very reticent bunch out there. The one tip that generated the most praise was actually not about Socrates at all but about the clipboard and how to make it more useful.
