There is another way that you can see what code you used for a previous social welfare cert that I was not aware of when I sent out Tip 45.  Thanks to Sheila Stephens on the National GP forum for this one.
When you open the form to write the social welfare cert if there are previous certs there is a little down arrow in the upper right that lists recent forms including the previous codes used.

So that’s even quicker than the previously described method.
