ICT Tip 154 – Socrates – Find a free appointment slot.

Now that we are all busier than ever it can sometimes be a challenge to find a free appointment slot for a clinician.  There is a facility that can help you quickly find a free slot as follows.
On the appointment screen click on find a free slot

This opens this dialogue box

1: Pick the date you are looking for a free slot, if none available choose another date.
2: Choose the Clinician you are looking for an appointment for
3: Click Find

The following appears

1: Unavailable slots are shown
2: Patients already booked are shown
3: Any available free slots are shown in green.  This example is from a test system hence loads of available slots.

To make an appointment just double click on one of the green slots and make the appointment as normal, it is put directly into the appointments screen.
